Wayne Gabaylo was born and raised in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. In 1990, he began
experimenting in his dad’s garage and invented a unique way to paint using cans of
spray paint. Using objects he found in his mom's kitchen, the self-taught artist soon
began combining them all together, (juggling and dancing) to the beat of music! He
calls his show “Art-In-Motion,” and for the past several years has been performing and
entertaining art lovers in Waikiki. Wayne donates his time performing FREE Art Shows
for many schools across the Hawaiian Islands. His subliminal “Anti-Graffiti” show educates students to “be constructive and not destructive.”
Wayne has also donated his time, and proceeds to charities throughout the State of
Hawaii, and across the US. In 1991, Fuji & Nippon Television sponsored Wayne to
perform in Tokyo, Japan. He was also featured in a popular Japanese Magazine
called “POPEYE!” And in 2003 locally, he was featured on the very popular television
show “The Hawaiian Moving Company.”
His original, “one-of-a-kind “space Fantasy and Hawaiian themes of waterfalls, volcano's with dolphins and turtles are just a few of his ideas and have been bought by art collectors all over the world. He plans to start his research early this year to contact local art galleries from around the world to help him set up his first tour around the world. Please look for his blog page that will be available shortly.
One of his many goals in life is to INSPIRE as many people as possible through his
LOVE for ART. With YOU…He hopes he has done that today. |
